Galaxy S9's official 'case selection' video pits a puppy against LED cat

Samsung has a funky new Hyperknit case line for the Galaxy S9 and S9+, plus the perennial favorites, and it is so proud of its accessory roster that it decided to make a special video about the "case selection, complete with a cute puppy taking on an LED cat. While premium crafted devices, such as the new Galaxies, are best experienced without a case, there's a good case to be made for slipping one on. 

A 20% thicker Gorilla Glass 5 on the Galaxy S9 and S9+, compared with their predecessors, and tougher, 7-series aluminum frame in the middle, could make for slightly higher scores in breakability tests, but, still, the best you can hope for when they hit the pavement face-down is "they were missing the sharp shards of glass that were seen during last year’s tests on the S8." 

Word to the wise - given the $200+ price for a screen or back replacements, do house your shiny new Galaxy S9 and S9+ in cases at all times.
