Samsung made a posh limited edition case for the Galaxy Note 8, see what makes it special
Samsung might not have made any major smartphone releases in the last few months, but the company has been doing a good job at promoting its currently available products. After the release of a Burgundy Red and SMARTgirl Galaxy S8, now it's Note 8's turn to receive some special attention.
Today, the tech giant announced that a limited edition case for the 6.3-inch phablet will soon start selling in South Korea. The case will be super rare, as only 99 units have been produced. All of them will be numbered, and Samsung says that a special theme will be automatically applied to the Note 8 when a user places their phone inside the case.
The cover has been designed and produced in collaboration with local art group 99AVANT, and sales will start next Tuesday (December 19th) on Samsung's website. The case will be bundled with a 256GB black Note 8, and the entire package will cost 1.99 million won ($1,840). The 256GB model, which isn’t available for purchase in the US, costs 1.25 million won (about $1,150).
