What does Samsung have in common with Elton John and Styx?
What does Samsung have in common with Elton John and Styx? All three are currently on tour in the U.S. To celebrate ten years of Galaxy handsets, Sammy (not Hagar) is on the road with its Experience Tour. If you go, you will get to try out the latest handsets released by the company; that would be the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S10+. What you won't get a chance to touch, or even see is the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Those attending the Experience Tour will have a chance to take pictures, including a wide-angle selfie with the dual front-facing cameras on the Galaxy S10+, and share it online. Those into mobile games can play Fortnite in live sessions, and take advantage of "crystal-clear" and "state-of-the-art" displays to have the ultimate gaming experience.
The tour isn't all about phones as the Galaxy Watch Active will be on display, showing how the devices can monitor your health and track your physical activities. There also will be free classes teaching you to stay healthy, and Samsung Health and Calm will work on your overtaxed mind. Of course, those attending will be able to purchase the latest Samsung phones and timepieces, and get support and service from Samsung Care.
Those in the Big Apple New York City can see the tour today, its last day in Times Square. The pop-up location will be open until 9pm EDT. After that, the Samsung Experience Tour will be at the Atlantic Terminal mall in Brooklyn from March 15th through March 29th, open from 10am-9pm EDT.
The Samsung Experience Tour can also be visited by those at SXSW in Austin, Texas at E 7th St & Trinity St. That location will remain up through March 17th, open each day from 9am to 10pm CDT. In Miami, the tour can be seen now through April 21st in Bayfront Park, and it is open in Los Angeles at Hollywood & Highland through May 5th. Both the Miami and L.A. locations can be visited between 10am-9pm local time. Samsung says that other markets will soon be graced by its presence including Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis and San Francisco.
While Samsung launched the Galaxy S on June 2, 2010, the line took off with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S II on April 28th, 2011.
