Samsung announces SGH-P310 - the Card phone II
Samsung has announced the successor of the SGH-P300 Card Phone the SGH-P310, naming it the Card Phone II. It is a tri-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM/EDGE slim phone in candybar form-factor and the size of a credit card. Compared to its predecessor, the P310 has a much improved and stylish look with black glossy surface and touch-sensor soft key for navigation. The display is a 1.9-inch 262k color QVGA TFT unit, while the camera is upgraded from 1.3 to 2 megapixels. As expected, there's also microSD cards support added but the Bluetooth version is still 1.2. The P310 measures only 3.39 x 2.13 x 0.33 inches (86 x 54 x 8.5 mm) and weighs 2.65 oz (75 g).
Yet, so far no info on availability in the US, as it's only announced that Samsung's SGH-P310 will be introduced to the European market in late September, while a Southeast Asian launch is scheduled for October.
