The FCC documents revealed information about the latest and still unannounced Samsung i858 phone operating in GSM network (900/1800/1900 MHz) and supporting high-speed EDGE data. The phone has a slide form-factor and touch-sensitive color display (probably QVGA 320x240 262k color one) with stylus. The SGH-i858 also supports Bluetooth, Infrared and USB connectivity for transfer between the handset itself and other devices. The internal memory is expanded through T-Flash (microSD) memory cards. The manual of the i858 also reveals that it supports EMAIL, Instant Messengers, and Media Player. Samsung SGH-i858 sports 2.0-megapixel Auto-focus camera with Flash and dedicated key on the side of the device as well.
The SGH-i858 is still not officially announced and there are not many details revealed, apart from the ones, provided by the FCC documents. There is no information on pricing and availability, but once scored FCC approval it may be expected to hit the US market.
