Samsung Jet receives over 2 million in pre-orders
According to the manufacturer, more than 2 million in pre-orders have been received for the Samsung Jet, although it is unclear whether or not that figure includes handsets already sold to Vodafone customers. It is the first model ever made by the Korean cellphone producer to hit the 2 million mark in pre-orders. The carrier has the exclusive rights to sell the Samsung Jet for another two weeks. As we have reported, Vodafone is offering the device for free with a 2 year contract and a 20 British Pound a month plan.
The Samsung Jet is feature packed with a WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a swift 800MHz processor, Wi-Fi and TouchWiz UI 2.0. Support for DivX and XviD videos is included as is the full HTML Dolfin web browser with flash. Later this month, the Jet will be made available in more than 50 countries. Do we hear 3 million, anyone?
