Samsung Gravity TXT brings its feature phone presence to T-Mobile come August 24th
Time after time, we continue to hear about smartphones attacking the lower end of the market, but for some people, they might still be resistant to paying for their slightly more expensive data costs. And of course, that’s why it’s rather refreshing some times to know that carriers still continue to announce feature phones – even if it’s not that often anymore like what it was like in the past.
Well, T-Mobile just might have something that might be of particular interest to people who aren’t all that mesmerized by smartphones just yet. From the looks of it all, T-Mobile will be bringing aboard the messaging oriented Samsung Gravity TXT to their lineup starting on August 24th. As we’ve seen recently, most of Samsung’s Gravity line has been packing Android, but this time around, it’s nothing more than a feature phone.
Needless to say, it’ll be more than adequate to teenagers and the younger crowd with its so-so set of features – such as a 2.4” display, 2-megapixel camera, and slide-out landscape style QWERTY keyboard. Meticulously looking at the leaked document, it appears to be priced at $39.99 with a 2-year agreement.
