Samsung Galaxy Watch price and release date
Samsung pulled out all stops today, and hot on the heels of the super premium, super expensive Galaxy Note 9, it announced a new line of smartwatches, dubbed simply Galaxy Watch this time. With two sizes - a 42mm piece that can come in different colors, and a silver 46mm - it covers everyone who wants their wrists to carry something that actually looks like a watch.
New chipset and frugality optimizations make the new Galaxy Watch last for days at a time, according to Samsung, which is more than can be said for the vast majority of such wearables, Apple's Watch included.
When you get the watches from now until September 8th, Samsung will throw in a free wristband to sweeten the pot. The LTE version will be supporting 30 carriers in 15 countries, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, but price and availability will be announced at a later date for this one.
The ring navigation we know and love is still here, though, as are the Tizen apps you are accustomed to. Samsung also has a Duo wireless charger that can top up both the Note 9 and the Galaxy Watch, something that has been eluding Apple for a good while now. So, how much for these two ring-bearers?
