Even more pictures show the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 in all its glory
We already know quite a lot of information about Samsung's upcoming smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but we can never have too many pictures of an unannounced device. With just one day before the official unveiling, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 makes headlines again thanks to a set of pictures that show the smartwatch in all its glory.
The pictures published over the weekend by Evan Blass confirm the smartwatch will be available in at least three colors at launch – black/gray, rose/gold and silver. The leather or plastic bands offer come in different styles as well, not just different colors, so there seem to be quite a few customization options for those looking to stand out.
One of the pictures shows the Galaxy Active Watch 2 from angles, including the “Samsung Galaxy Watch” name etched on the back. From what we know until now, the smartwatch is supposed to sport a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a circular resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. There will be no Qualcomm chipset inside the Galaxy Active Watch 2, as Samsung has decided to include its own Exynos 9110 processor inside.
The Exynos-based smartwatch will pack 1.5GB RAM and 768MB internal memory, while the battery size will be 247mAh and 340mAh on the Wi-Fi and LTE units, respectively. No word on price yet, but we hope it will cost less than $300.
