Samsung starts rolling out Android 9 Pie for Galaxy Tab S4 in the US
UPDATE: Verizon's LTE version of Galaxy Tab S4 is getting the update as well. The carrier has just published the official changelog, which mentions the main changes included in the update: redesigned Samsung One UI, improved Camera UX, and new features including Adaptive Battery, Digital Wellbeing, and Night Mode.

Samsung has already kicked off the Android 9.0 Pie rollout to the Galaxy Tab S4 a few weeks ago, but the update was only available for international models. Starting today, US customers can update their Galaxy Tab S4 tablets to Android 9.0 Pie, assuming they own the Wi-Fi only model.

Apparently, the LTE version has been left out from the initial roll-out, and we have no idea when it will arrive. The official changelog published by Samsung contains all the new features and improvements that you'll be getting after you update to Android 9.0 Pie, including the new One UI, Bixby enhancements and security patches.

Aside from the new changes that it brings, the update is also quite massive, so make sure that you have at least 1.5GB free space on your Galaxy Tab S4 before you attempt to download and install Android 9.0 Pie.

Although there's no telling when exactly Samsung plans to release the update for the LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab S4, we imagine it shouldn't be too far away.
