Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 leaked out in live pictures
The high-end Galaxy Tab S4 may not be the only tablet Samsung plans to launch in the coming weeks, as a couple of mid-range and entry-level models emerged online in the last month or so. One of these cheaper slates, the Galaxy Tab A2 has just been listed at FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
The tablet is known as Samsung SM-T590 and sports a large 10.5-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. The pictures that come with the FCC listing show a standard tablet that doesn't seem to feature a physical Home button nor a fingerprint sensor on the back.

However, we do see two speakers on the bottom side, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for audiophiles. Unfortunately, there are no details available about the Galaxy Tab A2's hardware, but we suspect it will be positioned between the top-tier Galaxy Tab S4 and the entry-level Galaxy Tab Advanced 2.
It's yet unclear when exactly Samsung will announce the Galaxy Tab A2, but we do know for sure the Galaxy Tab S4 will be introduced next month at IFA 2018, along with the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy Watch. Perhaps the mid-range Android tablet will be showcased at the same trade fair as well.
