Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the first LTE tablet on US Cellular, now available
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is probably the hottest premium Android tablet and now it’s available on regional carrier US Cellular. The launch of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with LTE matches the expansion of the 4G LTE network of US Cellular. The carrier promises to have 54% of its customers covered by the high-speed LTE network by the end of 2012 and now with the Tab 10.1 there’s a luring tablet offering for them.
Currently, US Cellular covers only limited regions in several states. It plans to expand coverage to Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin by end-2012.
While the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the first 4G LTE tablet for US Cellular, the carrier still hasn’t gottent its first LTE-enabled smartphone. The operator plans on launching the LTE-capable Samsung Galaxy S Aviator in April.
