Samsung has created a silver Galaxy S10+ but you can't have it
The Galaxy S10+ is already available in a wide range of colors including Prism Green, Flamingo Pink, and the new Cardinal Red. But if none of these finishes tickle your fancy, maybe this next color will. There’s just one problem.
Called Prism Silver, the finish adds a silver panel to the rear of the Galaxy S10+. Samsung has opted for a light silver tone, much like the color used on last year’s Cloud Silver Galaxy Note 9. However, this time around it has added copper tones towards the very bottom of the phone which blend out gradually as part of a gradient look.
Unsurprisingly, the color costs no more than Samsung’s other options. But serving as a big blow for international customers, it turns out the company is currently only offering Prism Silver in Hong Kong. There’s also no sign of a launch elsewhere at any point in the near future.
The move means that, if you’re interested in the Galaxy S10+, you’ll have to settle for one of Samsung’s existing colors. Alternatively, if you want a silver flagship, waiting for the Galaxy Note 10 might be worthwhile. After all, rumor has it silver will be available at launch.
