Galaxy S10/S10+ pre-orders massively outperforming Galaxy S9/S9+ in China: tipster
The Samsung Galaxy S10+
Just days into the pre-order period, shipment dates were pushed back – typically a sign of strong sales. Then, Samsung was forced to offer a $130 reward with pre-orders because it had run out of Galaxy Buds to ship. More recently, certain Galaxy S10 carrier models have completely sold out. And it now seems as though this success may have extended to China.
In China, Samsung just opened the S10 pre-sale, Samsung S10/S10+ 2-hour pre-sale = S9/S9+ 24-hour pre-sale × 2

In recent times, Samsung has been struggling to compete in China due to pressure from local competitors. But over the past few months, the company has introduced a number of new devices aimed at local consumers. In fact, its new Galaxy A series is rumored to have been designed entirely by its Chinese design time.
Ultimately, only time will tell if Samsung’s recent changes are enough to kick start growth in China once again. But if these Galaxy S10 numbers are accurate, Samsung could have a pretty bright future in the market.
