Samsung Galaxy S III Neo with Android 4.4 KitKat makes official debut in Europe

While Samsung won’t be updating its non-LTE Galaxy S III to Android KitKat (because it has only 1GB of RAM), the company is now presenting a refreshed 3G-only Galaxy S III that runs the latest version of Android. Called Galaxy S III Neo (model number GT-I9301I), the new handset is listed at Samsung Germany’s website, and looks exactly like the model from 2012.

This Galaxy S III Neo is slightly different from the S3 Neo that was released in India a few months back: it doesn’t have dual SIM support, and comes with a quad-core 1.4GHz processor, instead of a 1.2GHz CPU like the Indian device. However, it does have 1.5GB of RAM.

The S III Neo doesn't seem to be available to buy yet, but we assume it will be released in the near future (in blue and white, from what we can see).

Samsung didn’t properly announce the Galaxy S III Neo, so we don’t know if the company is planning to launch it in other markets.
