The 2012 London Summer Olympics are right around the corner, and you know that Samsung is an official spoonsor. Combine those two facts, and you shouldn’t be too surprised to see this gorgeous new Samsung Galaxy Note Olympic Edition with the Union flag on its glossy back cover. The gigantic handset with a 5.3-inch screen, the biggest yet on a smartphone, will be sold in the UK soon.
If you don’t want such a huge device, Samsung is also getting an Olympic version of its affordable Galaxy Y ready for launch as well.
When it comes to the Olympic Note, it will be sold on UK’s carrier O2. Buyers of the phone could win tickets to an event of the Olympics, and for every phone Samsung contributes “£1 to Team GB athletes of the future.”
