One of the most highly anticipated phones of the year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, is expected to be introduced just prior to the IFA 2013 show in Berlin. Samsung is expected to hold one of its Samsung Unpacked events on September 4th. It was at a similar event last September, two days before the 2012 IFA show, when the Korean manufacturer unveiled the Samsung GALAXY Note II.
Meanwhile, it appears that the next iteration of Sammy's phablet line has made a return trip through the AnTuTu benchmark site where it scored an impressive 33,082. The score was achieved using a Hong Kong variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900), and a processor clocked at 1.9GHz was driving the unit. Additionally, Android 4.2.2 was installed on this particular Note 3.
Interestingly, a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 recently scored 27,914 on the same benchmark test. The difference is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on that test was powered by a 1.6GHz processor as opposed to the 1.9GHz clock speed on the more recent test. We should also point out that the Note 3 that made the earlier AnTuTu run was carrying Android 4.3. Taking the score and the clock speed into consideration, the version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 used on the latest test probably was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU.
