The Galaxy Note 10/+ look incredible in these leaked press renders
UPDATE: New renders showcasing the larger Galaxy Note 10+ have been added into the article. The updated story continues below.

A complete change in direction for the Galaxy Note series
Published first by WinFuture and followed up shortly after by Ishan Agarwal with watermark-less images, today’s set of press renders essentially confirm the Galaxy Note 10 design that Steve Hemmerstoffer leaked over one month ago.
The smartphones pictured, which in the first gallery is the Galaxy Note 10 and in the second the Galaxy Note 10+. look totally different to the Galaxy Note 9 Samsung introduced just twelve months ago. The upcoming models sports large 6.3-inch and 6.75-inch Infinity-O displays respectively which are characterized by extremely thin bezels and a centered cutout towards the top. The latter houses what's expected to be a 10-megapixel selfie snapper and is paired with curved edges along either side of the displays and a slightly thicker chin that should be barely noticeable in person.
Moving over to the rear, the rather drastic design changes continue. Gone is Samsung's horizontal camera setup that has been used since the Galaxy Note 8 and in its place is a Huawei P30-like vertical camera setup that includes a total of three individual sensors. Much like the Galaxy S10+ that was released earlier this year, a 16-megapixel super-wide-angle camera is expected alongside a 12-megapixel telephoto alternative that'll support 2x optical zoom. As an added bonus for the larger device, an Time-of-Flight sensor has also been added to the rear.
Accompanying this should be Samsung's usual 12-megapixel sensor as the primary camera. In order to better differentiate the Galaxy Note 10 from previous devices, though, one pretty drastic upgrade in the form of a three-stage variable aperture lens is rumored. Since the Galaxy S9, Samsung has used a dual aperture system on its flagships which is designed to produce the best shots in both normal and low-light conditions. However, the cameras do often struggle in intermediate use cases, hence the upgraded system on the Galaxy Note 10.
The Galaxy Note 10 will introduce big internal upgrades too
Like the Galaxy S10 series that precedes it, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup will use different processors depending on the region its sold in. For the US market, as is often the case, the flagship will reportedly make use of Qualcomm's top-of-the-range Snapdragon 855 paired with a minimum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In Europe, however, the device is expected to use one of Samsung's own chips.
The Galaxy S10 lineup makes use of the Exynos 9820, thus making it the prime candidate for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. But according to recent reports, Samsung is actually developing an updated version of this processor for the Galaxy Note 10 series called the Exynos 9825 which will be built on the newer 7-nanometer process and boost both performance and efficiency slightly. In turn, this should bridge the rather noticeable gap between Samsung's own chips and Qualcomm's equivalents.
In Europe, the upcoming flagships are expected to ship with the same 8/128GB storage configuration as standard. Much like the Galaxy S10 series, though, other models with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage are possible in both Europe and the US.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 release date
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will go official on August 7th alongside the bigger Galaxy Note 10+ and potentially the Galaxy Watch 2 and Galaxy Tab S6. Pre-orders are expected to commence immediately followed by shipments a couple of weeks later. The flagship will be available to purchase in black and a silver gradient color upon launch, although other finishes could make the cut too.
Leaks suggest Samsung is also preparing a 5G variant of the larger Galaxy Note 10+ which will be available to purchase as a Verizon exclusive in the US. However, relatively little is known about this offering at the moment.
