AT&T starts selling a Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) with a 2016 vibe
AT&T this week started carrying a new, affordable Android 7 Nougat smartphone made by Samsung: the Galaxy J7 (2017). Mind you, this is not the Galaxy J7 (2017) that was officially unveiled last month in Europe, despite the fact that it has the same name. Confusing, we know.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) that AT&T is selling is a slightly improved and redesigned Galaxy J7 (2016) - similar to Verizon's Galaxy J7 V and Sprint's Galaxy J7 Perx.

Sold for $239.99 outright, or $8 per month for 30 months, AT&T's Galaxy J7 (2017) sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The handset further features an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage space, and a relatively generous 3300 mAh battery.

The very same Galaxy J7 (2017) that can be purchased on AT&T is offered by Cricket Wireless as the Galaxy Halo. Any buyers here?
