Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) might be coming soon
Samsung already refreshed the Galaxy A series, and considering it's been almost an year since the 2016 version of the Galaxy J smartphones were released, everyone expects that the J handsets will be getting the same treatment.
A solid reason to believe that the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) is coming is the fact that a device with model number of SM-J530FM/DS has just received a certification by the Wi-Fi alliance. The certification doesn't mention any specific hardware, but it does state that the handset that got certified was running Android 6.0 Marshmallow at the time. Whether or not the next J5 will be getting Nougat at some point is hard to guess.
The 2017 Galaxy J handsets have yet to be officially announced by Samsung, but we're bound to hear more about them in the coming weeks. We might even get some info on them at MWC.
