Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) on track to receive Android 7.0 Nougat update

In any case, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has been recently listed at Wi-Fi Alliance, but this time with Android 7.0 Nougat on board. Featuring model number SM-J510N, the Galaxy J5 (2016) could get the new update by the end of the year.
The Galaxy J5 (2016) was launched last year in April before Google introduced Android Nougat. And so, the smartphone continues to ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board.
Hardware-wise, the phone is decent enough to run Nougat, as Samsung included a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB expandable storage. Other highlights of the phone include a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel selfie snapper, and a 5-inch HD (720p) display.
