According to a pair of tweets from reliable tipster Evan Blass, a  couple of Samsung handsets are making their way to carriers in the U.S. The SM-J327 is the Samsung J3 (2017) and according to Blass, this model will be available for AT&T's pre-paid customers. It also will be offered by AT&T owned Cricket Wireless as the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime 2. This device is equipped with a 5-inch screen carrying a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 SoC featuring a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU, and the Adreno 308 GPU.

The Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with 1.5GB of RAM along with 16GB of native storage (10GB is available to the user). A 5MP camera is on back with a 2MP front-facing camera available for selfies and video chats. Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

The other handset mentioned by Blass, the SM-J727, will be known as the Samsung Galaxy J7 at Verizon (available to both both postpaid and pre-paid subscribers). At TracFone, the model will be known as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. At Sprint, Boost and Virgin, the handset will use the Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx moniker.

In actuality, this is the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) which offers a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 (FHD) resolution. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 625 chipset, which includes an octa-core 2GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. The camera combo, form back to front, is 13MP and 5MP respectively. Android 7.0 is pre-installed.
