Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 seen from all angles in official-looking press images

The blogosphere has been inundated with sightings of Samsung's Galaxy Folder 2 of late, and while there was little doubt as to its existence, supposedly official press images have now hit the scene. If, as is suspected, these are the the genuine press snaps of the forthcoming clamshell, then an official announcement should be just around the corner.

Along with the silver variant seen above through today's leak, a rather eye-catching gold version has also smiled for the camera in recent times. It looks like a blast from the past, which in many regards, it is. But its antiquated aesthetic belies a collection of internal hardware very much in alignment with the modern smartphone age.

As well as Android Marshmallow 6.0, the Galaxy Folder 2 is set to be powered by Qualcomm's 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 gigs of storage. There's also a 2000 mAh battery, while the 3.8-inch display packs a resolution of 480 x 800.

Given the TENAA certification and continued wave of leaks, it seems only a matter of time before Samsung ends the speculation and makes things official.
