Samsung Galaxy Fit latest update adds battery improvements, new virtual button
Samsung's most recent fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit made its debut in the United States less than a month ago and it's already getting an update that addresses some issues with the battery. Also, the update introduces a new virtual button that gives users quick access to an important feature.
But first, let's mention that this is a rather small size update that weighs in at 20MB. It was spotted in France for the first time earlier this week, but it should arrive on all Galaxy Fit units around the globe, TizenHelp reports.
As far as the contents of the update go, it looks like Samsung has decided to improve the algorithm and stability of the battery charging. Also, as the title says, Samsung added a new virtual button which lets Galaxy Fit users take a quick measurement of the heart rate in the specific widget.
It's worth mentioning that part of changes included in this update was rolled out to the cheaper Galaxy Fit e not long ago, so it seems that some things related to the software that powers Samsung's fitness trackers needed to be adjusted.
