Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update

9comments

After months of waiting, the cheapest smartphone in the Galaxy A (2017) series is finally getting Android 7.0 Nougat update. Back in May, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) was spotted at GFXBench running a new version of Android, but it took the South Korean company more than two months to actually start pushing the update.

If you happen to live in Russia, then you'll be among the first to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). Actually, the rollout began on July 26, so many Galaxy A3 (2017) users should have already received the update.

Keep in mind that this is a relatively sizable download since the update weighs in at 2.21, so make sure you have enough free storage before attempting to update. Along with all the nifty features that Android 7.0 Nougat brings, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) owners will also get the July security patch.

We're fairly convinced that the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will expand to more countries in the coming weeks, so make sure you check if it's available it from time to time.
