The 2017 version of the Samsung Galaxy A3 surfaces on GFXBench
Late last month, we told you that Samsung appears to be
prepping the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017). These would be the third generation versions for each handset. The model numbers are SM-A320F, SM-A520F and SM-A720F respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has made an appearance on GFXBench, which gives us an idea of what the specs will be on the device. According to the benchmark test, the phone will come with a 4.7-inch screen, carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution. The Exynos 7870 SoC is under the hood equipped with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU, and the Mali-T830 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage. A 12MP camera adorns the back of the phone, while an 8MP front-facing camera shoots selfies and handles video chats. Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.
If history repeats itself, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will each have the same 12MP rear-facing camera and 8MP front-facing snapper that the Galaxy A3 (2017) sports.
