Samsung GALAXY Note III, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 rumored to be unwrapped in September at IFA
According to a Samsung insider, who is anonymous, the next big (and we mean BIG) introduction for Samsung could take place in September with the unveiling of the Samsung GALAXY Note III. The size of the screen in the series has risen from the 5.3 inches seen on the original Samsung GALAXY Note to the 5.5 inch panel on the Samsung GALAXY Note II. Speculation of the screen size for the GALAXY Note III has ranged from 5.9 inches to 6.3 inches. The current leader in screen size for a smartphone is the Huawei Ascend Mate whichoffers a 6.1 inch glass. The unveiling of the Samsung GALAXY Note III is supposed to take place at Berlin's IFA show, which starts September 2nd this year.
At the same time that Samsung unveils the latest version of its tablet, the Korean manufacturer will also introduce the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, the latest in that line of Android tablets. While no specs were revealed by the insider, he did say that the first-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets will no longer be updated. He said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 slates will be updated to Android 4.2.2, which will be the last update for the Galaxy Tab 2.
