Samsung GALAXY Note II knock-off is $150 and comes rooted out of the box

The Star S7180 knock-off of the Samsung GALAXY Note II

If the price of the Samsung GALAXY Note II is more than you are looking to spend, you can always turn to a knock-off. The Star S7180 boasts a 5.5 inch screen, a MT6577 dual-core processor with dual-SIM support and actually includes Android 4.1.1 installed on the device. There is 1GB of RAM on board, half the 2GB on the real thing, and 4GB of native storage vs. 64GB on the Samsung phablet. An 8MP camera is on the back of the knock-off with an LED flash and there is a VGA camera up front.

Yes, there is GPS and Wi-Fi on the device, which comes out of the box already rooted. You will soon be able to buy it online from a Chinese retailer for just $150, which makes it a cheaper alternative to customizing your more expensive Samsung GALAXY Note II, possibly turning it into an expensive brick.
