It was only yesterday when we brought you photos of the alleged first Android powered smartphone for MetroPCS with support for their 4G LTE network – the
Samsung SCH-R910. However, we're now getting a glimpse of possibly a second device for the popular prepaid wireless carrier which is going by the name of the
Samsung Forte.
Although its bears a
slight resemblance to the R910, it's shaping to become yet another LTE device bound for MetroPCS, but it's packing the convenience of a
landscape style keyboard. Moreover, it's speculated that the handset will feature Samsung's TouchWiz UI running on top of Android 2.2 Froyo, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5-megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot for storage.
So if you're currently a MetroPCS customer, there's plenty to be excited about since there are potentially two LTE Android smartphones on the way.
