Another day, another update that brings new stuff for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 owners is being pushed out by the South Korean company. Although this isn't really an OS update, if you're using the Samsung Calendar app, you'll be happy to know that new features are available with the latest version.
Basically, the app allows you to add stickers to each day in order to mark a special event that you want to be visible at first glance. You can only add the new emojis if you have the latest version of Samsung Calendar installed on any of the three Samsung models mentioned: Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8.
For older models that have the S Planner app installed, a similar option allowed users to set various stickers for certain days. The new feature added to the Samsung Calendar can only be applied to schedule items save to My Calendar, so keep that in mind for when you try it out.
The new version of Samsung Calendar was released in the Galaxy Apps store last week, so it should slowly appear for everyone in the coming days.
