Yearning for that one-of-a-kind Meego smartphone from Nokia, known commonly as the N9 in many circles? Well, if you still have an inkling for it and happen to live in the UK, you’re in luck seeing that a SIM-free model can be purchased at a decent price.
Yes, it might still be perceived to be a pocket busting investment, but when you take into account that Nokia markets the N9 as a premier and high-end device, the $545 (£345) that’s attached to it by Expansys in the UK isn’t all that bad. Even more, the device normally retails for at least £100 more at other retailers – like Amazon for example.
Being a SIM-free model and all, it’ll work with just about any GSM-based network – so all you need to do is pop in your SIM of choice, and voila, it’ll work like magic. Not everyone is going to be running out to pick up this deal, obviously, but if you’re simply one of those cool hipsters that want to show your friends something out of the norm, it’s then probably worth picking up.
Once you've made that decision, the only thing left worth thinking about is whether to choose the magenta or all-black version of the handset. Decisions, decisions!
