Root your DROID X with just one click
Remember back when it was thought to be impossible to root the Motorola DROID X MB810? Yet it only took one week from the release date for it to actually happen. Then you look at the actual process of rooting the phone and take a step back, having to use ADB with over a dozen command lines to type in. Couldn't there be a simpler process? Now there is, thanks to Sil3ntKi113 from AllDroid. He has created a single program that combines everything that has to be done to root the DROID X and with a simple interface to use, asking "Root Me" and "UnRoot Me". A few things you'll have to do first is to download the zip file (see source below) and follow the very basic directions, make sure you are using a Windows PC with .Net 3.5 Framework installed (it is already included in Vista and Win 7), have USB Debugging Enabled on the DROID X, and have turned off both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. Once all that is done, it's as simple as connecting the DROID X to your PC via USB, running the program and clicking the Root Me button. Let us know in the Comment section if you give it a try.
