Rogers is getting the Samsung Infuse 4G; with Gingerbread on board
What’s better than knowing that Rogers customers are going to see the Samsung Infuse 4G in the near future? Well, how about packing along the latest version of Android from the onset with Gingerbread on board!
That’s exactly what’s going on as the incredibly thin handset is going to be splashing down with Rogers some time very shortly – albeit, no official date has been mentioned so far. Regardless, the handset they’re getting is every bit the same that we see with AT&T’s version, but the unique thing about it is that Gingerbread will be available from the start. However, it’s also noteworthy to mention that it’ll support Rogers’ 21Mbps HSPA+ network for some lightning quick data speeds.
Naturally, there’s going to be a lot of interest surrounding the handset – even more when it features a tantalizing 4.5” Super AMOLED Plus display. In the meantime, Rogers customers can continue to start saving money now since its pricing is still unknown.
