Android 5.1 adds the new flashlight feature on Quick Settings. Speaking of the menu, new animated icons are added, including a cool spinning one for the Auto Rotation option. Perhaps the most important new feature coming with the update deals with security. A lost or stolen Android phone cannot be unlocked until the rightful owner signs into to his/her Google Account. With Android 5.1, even if the bad guys factory reset the phone, it will remain locked until the owner signs in.
No precise date in June was mentioned, and the listing says in the fine print that the update schedule is subject to change. So if you own the Moto G LTE on Rogers, keep your fingers crossed.
