Report: 5.7 inch screen, LTE-A connectivity for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3
A published report on Friday says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be coming to market with a larger 5.7 inch screen. The report matches a tweet sent out last month by reliable source evleaks. While this would be larger than the current 5.5 inch display on the Samsung GALAXY Note II, it is smaller than earlier forecasts of the screen size for the third iteration of Samsung's phablet. Earlier reports listed the screen on the Galaxy Note 3 as being as large as 5.99 inches.

Friday's report also says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will offer LTE-A connectivity. The next-generation network offers speeds twice that of regular LTE, as high as 150Mbps. SK Telecom late last month announced the first LTE-A network that is completed. The first LTE-A enabled handset? The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A packed with a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Matching earlier expectations, Friday's report has the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 getting introduced just prior to the IFA 2013 show in Berlin. More specifically, September 4th is the date being passed along for the unveiling of Sammy's new phablet.
