For the 2018 model, Samsung has apparently placed the fingerprint scanner underneath the single lens of the Samsung Galaxy S9, and under the dual camera lenses that will be employed on the Galaxy S9+. The renders also show different colors for the back of both models including Midnight Black, Silver Titanium, Orchid Gray, Ocean Blue and Maple Gold.
Expected specs for the 2018 Samsung Galaxy S9 flagship include a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset in the U.S. and will feature 4GB and 6GB of RAM along with 64GB and 128GB of native storage. We could see the device introduced just before the 2018 MWC trade show in Barcelona, which opens on February 26th next year.
