Render of Nokia Lumia 929 leaks; large screened Windows Phone headed to Verizon
Last week, we thought we had uncovered a picture showing the rear cover of the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet wearing the Verizon Wireless logo. But when the device made its way through the FCC with a different model number and camera placement than seen on the Lumia 1520, we thought we might have found a version of the first Windows Phone phablet made to specs ordered by Big Red.
But as it turns out, on Saturday evleaks tweeted a render of the Nokia Lumia 929, which looks like front side of what we thought was the rear of the Lumia 1520 for Verizon. It is also a numerical follow-up to the carrier's exclusive Nokia Lumia 928. So what do we know about the Nokia Lumia 929? It will have a 20MP PureView snapper on back and it will have a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920. And because of the latter, the device will have to sport the GDR3 update. The screen appears to be smaller than the 6 inches that AT&T's Nokia Lumia 1520 will offer. Both models could see the light of day at the same time.

While the render is in black, the tweet from evleaks says it will be available in white as well. Expect a launch sometime before this year is through.
