Red Nexus 5 is finally official, available in Google Play Store
Finally, the red variant of the Nexus 5 is here. Now available in the Google Play Store, the model was the subject of questionable videos, suspect photographs and speculative reports. The good news is that the pricing remains the same with the 16GB model tagged at $349 and the 32 GB variant priced at $399.
The red version of the Nexus 5 is all ready to roll with shipments set to leave the warehouse in the next day or two. The model will be available this month in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Australia, India, Japan and Korea. A wider European rollout is expected to follow.
The Nexus 5 is manufactured by LG and offers a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM and back and front facing shooters of 8MP and 1.3MP respectively. A 2300mAh cell powers the handset, which has Android 4.4 pre-installed.
There are still rumors about a yellow version of the Nexus 5 that is expected to be coming soon. As soon as we spot something about this or any other new color for the phone, we will let you know.
