Realistic iPhone 8 concept video shows what the phone might look like
The short clip was made by Ukrainian designer Vladimir Obshansky who anticipates an iPhone 8 with a 5.8-inch "edge-to-edge" OLED display shaped around the trendy 18:9 (2:1) aspect ratio, much like what we already have in the Galaxy S8. We're also shown a virtual Home button and a fingerprint scanner built into the screen.
A look at the back reveals a dual-camera module with a vertical arrangement comprised of a main camera bundled with a 2X zoom telephoto shooter, similar to what we already have in the iPhone 7 Plus. Vladimir Obshansky also expects virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies as well as a wireless charging solution and stereo speakers to be integrated into the iPhone 8. On a related note, AR in iOS 11 was recently demonstrated by Apple at its WWDC conference, while rumors about wireless charging coming to the next iPhone have appeared on multiple occasions.
Apple is expected to announce the next batch of iPhones in September, in time for the launch of the iOS 11 software update. Feel free to tell us if you'd love to see an iPhone 8 looking the way Vladimir drew it.
