Razer Phone 3 might still be on track for a 2019 release
Despite the fact that it laid off or relocated most of its mobile division staff, Razer is still betting on gaming smartphones. New reports indicate that the company is working to bring yet another gaming handset on the market by the end of the year.
It's unclear whether or not the reorganization of the mobile division will have any negative impact on the development of the company's third smartphone, but industry sources claim the Razer Phone 3 is still on track for a 2019 release, Digitimes reports.
Although gaming smartphones remain niche products, Chinese handset makers continue to support the segment with new releases each year. The most recent gaming smartphone announced, Xiaomi's Black Shark 2 is only available in China, which leaves a lot of consumers looking for such niche products up for grabs.
