Radio Shack to launch the HTC EVO 3D on June 24th says flyer
You might remember last month when we reported a possible June 4th launch date for the HTC EVO 3D by Radio Shack. Well, something tells us that this is not correct. Perhaps it is the picture of a upcoming Radio Shack flyer that shows in rather big print that the HTC EVO 3D will be launched by the retailer on June 24th. And while the Shack has secretly been taking pre-orders for the device, the flyer notes that you can reserve one of the most highly anticipated handsets of the year up until the close of business on June 21st.
The flyer is not shy about revealing that the Green Hornet 3D will come pre-installed on the phone, but we cannot see any mention of price; that is ok, because last month we showed you an ad for the HTC EVO 3D from Radio Shack that revealed the $199.99 cost of the handset with a signed 2-year pact. The ad also mentioned that if you trade in an HTC EVO 4G or an HTC EVO Shift, you will get an additional $100 discount on the EVO 3D to take your price down to $99.99. And as they say on those late night ads, wait, there's more. While supplies last, those purchasing the handset at Radio Shack will receive a free download of the Black Eyed Peas song Phenomenon, which could be about the EVO 3D.
As for Sprint, we last reported that a clue in the Sprint Playbook suggested a release in the fourth week of June, which does coincide with the now expected June 24th launch from Radio Shack.
