QuickPic updated with a ton of new features, scores colorful themes, photo sphere support, more
Version 4.0 of one of the most-streamlined and polished 3rd-party gallery apps available on Google Play, QuickPic, has just "graduated" from beta and is now live on Google Play, bringing a multitude of improvements and new features that will probably make its fans quite happy. It is one of the more popular apps of late to receive a Material Design overhaul - users can now choose between many different color themes for QuickPic's action bar (by heading to Settings > General > Themes inside the app); certain Material Design animations can also be spotted here or there.

Enough with the looks, though! Let's see what other features have arrived to this 3rd-party gallery. First of all, it now allows you to automatically backup your photos to the cloud; you can also sign in with your Google account. A new sorting method has also been implemented - you can now sort your folders by size and see which ones eat up the largest amount of your precious storage. What's even more, the app will now scan your folders for pictures even faster.

Among the more notable new features of QuickPic is its newly-scored support for photospheres - you can now easily check out the photospheres you've shot with Google's camera or any other app that allows you to do so.

QuickPic is up for grabs for free from the Play Store. Those that use it regularly will probably receive the update shortly.
