Push notifications finally makes it way on Facebook 3.1 for the iPhone
Someone stop the presses because Facebook has finally done something that it should’ve done since its Facebook app has been released for the iPhone. Owners of Apple’s smartphone are finally getting the much needed treatment of receiving push notifications – something sought out for so long now. It’s probably the best thing to happen to iPhone users since the inception of the Facebook application itself – so now you’ll be up-to-date on everything that happens when you close out of the app.  Additionally, version 3.1 of the Facebook app finally throws on the one feature that Android users have long been enjoying – that’s being able to synchronize your friends with your address book. So rather than manually setting it up, you can quickly get all your friends loaded on and have speed dials for each one. It’s available right now on the App Store – so make sure to download it so you don’t miss a beat on Facebook.
