Purported iPhone 8 dummy unit pictured with vertical dual cameras and under-screen fingerprint scanner
Designer and occasional leaker Benjamin Geskin claims to have obtained a dummy – more precisely, a CNC-machined model – of the upcoming iPhone 8. However, it's difficult to discern which photos depict a physical unit, and which are a very good modeling job.

We are only certain about the pic showing the iPhone's display, because Geskin 'shopped it over a purported photo of the dummy unit. Do note that the screen he envisions covers the entire front, although there's an overlay depicting the bottom bezel typical of all iPhones up to now.

Although the phone appears rather thick, Geskin claims it measures the same as the iPhone 7 in thickness and size. There's also a Lighting port, and the fingerprint scanner is supposedly built into the display. Geskin also mentioned 4mm bezels, dual front & dual rear cameras, and 2.5D curved glass on the back and front panels. Many of these specs have been listed before.

Despite the leak's questionable nature, most of it could come close to what we'll be seeing in September. But with the variety of schematics and whatnot floating on the web, showing iPhones with fingerprint scanners on the back and different variations of the "edgeless" screen concept, we'd hesitate to bet on anything right now. So treat this one as another wild card.
