Press images of the Huawei Ascend D quad out, available in black and white (updated with video)

Not only is the Huawei Ascend D quad a powerhouse (well, let's bench the K3V2 chipset first), but it also a thing of a beauty, and Huawei just posted its press photos of the quad-core monster with the 4.5" HD screen.
The handset indeed seems very compact for a 4.5-incher, the "most compact" for a screen of this size, claims Huawei, and is very thin at 8.9mm. Huawei's Twitter feed from the MWC says that it is inspired by the engine of a sports car, although it doesn't specify which sports car exactly.
There is a patterned back cover for easy grip, the 8MP camera module seems only slightly protruding, and there are red accents on the black chassis, like on HTC's Beats phones, bringing a very polished, yet interesting looks.
What does everyone think, did Huawei nail it with design this time as much as it seems to have nailed it with hardware?
