Preorders open for the international Nokia Lumia 900 version too, 99 EUR with a contract
While this week seems to be dedicated towards ramping up the excitement towards the flagship Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone handset, the international version which comes without the LTE radio is also getting some love.
The handset is up for preorder now in Italy, at the reasonable 99 EUR price with a contract and the pretty high 599 EUR price without any carrier subsidies (about $800). The rumored arrival date is pegged at some time next month.
Whether sales will be successful outside of the US remains to be seen, but AT&T, Nokia and Microsoft have seemingly formed quite the marketing alliance behind the Lumia 900, so we expect some record-breaking Windows Phone sales to come with it. The phone is now backordered on Amazon, and the online retailer is sweetening the deal with a free car charger besides its hard-to-beat 1 cent price for new customers.
