Pre-register for Android version of trivia game HQ and win real cash
Earlier this month, we told you about the HQ Trivia app that allows you to play a trivia game for real cash. One game begins ever day at 9pm EST, and on weekdays there is a matinee starting at 3pm EDT. HQ has been available from the App Store to iOS users. And now, HQ is heading to Android. While there is no set date for its debut on Google's open source OS, you can pre-register for the app right now. The buzz around the water cooler suggests that HQ for Android will be ready to go starting at the end of this month.

Filling out the pre-registration form doesn't mean that the app will automatically be installed on your Android phone or tablet once HQ is available for the platform. What it does mean is that you'll receive a notification when the time has come to install the app on your mobile device. Once you install the app, you'll need to open an account and then you'll be ready to play. The amount of money that can be won varies day to day. Each question has three possible answers; those who select the right one within the 10-second limit get to continue playing. Those still standing after 12 questions will split the prize money.

HQ is reportedly sniffing around venture capital firms, seeking additional funding. The money could be used to help promote the app, or perhaps to raise the prize money.

There have been some players who try to game the system using some sort of method that quickly puts HQ's questions through Google Search. Still, if you know trivia, you might be able to win fair and square. But you can't win if you don't play! Click on the iOS link to start playing HQ on that platform. Those with Android should click on that link to pre-register.
