Pre-orders for the HTC One M9 start tomorrow (March 27), devices to arrive in stores on April 10
While the One M9, HTC's newest flagship, will arrive in physical stores on April 10, HTC just made it clear that customers in the U.S. will have the chance to pre-order the device directly from its own website starting tomorrow (March 27).
The phone will command a $649 price tag and will be unlocked, meaning that you'll be able to use it regardless of your mobile carrier of choice. Sales will begin exactly at 12:01 AM tomorrow. The One M9 will land in brick and mortar stores on April 10.
As an added bonus, all HTC One M9 units will ship with HTC's new UH OH device protection service. This means that the manufacturer will replace your damaged device provided that you're within the first year of your warranty. The HTC One (M8) is also eligible for the UH OH initiative.
We already had the chance to review the HTC One M9: while we found it to be an exquisitely-crafted phone that still employs one of the best designs in the industry, we were somewhat disappointed by its under-preforming 20MP rear camera and mostly inaccurate 1080p display.
