Pre-orders for Xiaomi Mi Note Pro with 4GB of RAM to begin on May 6th
Those waiting for Xiaomi's most powerfully spec'd handset, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, should circle May 6th on their calendar. That is the date when the handset will start to be available for pre-orders. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted this information on his Weibo account today. The Mi Note Pro will priced at the equivalent of $533 USD.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro offers a 5.7-inch LCD screen which features a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 515ppi. Under the hood you will find a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU with the Adreno 430 GPU handling graphics. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of non-expandable storage. The 13MP rear camera includes OIS and there is a 4MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. The whole shebang is powered with a 3000mAh cell, and Android 5.0 is pre-installed with MIUI 6 running on top. The unit handles 4G LTE Cat.9 and also supports dual SIM, dual standby.
