If you're an AT&T customer, or you're thinking about becoming one, Walmart is giving you a good deal if you want to reserve the Samsung Galaxy S4. While the nation's second largest carrier is willing to take your pre-order for the smartphone at a price of $199.99 with a signed two-year pact, the deep discount retailer will sell you an AT&T branded version of the next flagship Android phone for $168 for a savings of nearly $32. Of course, you will still have to sign a two-year contract to obtain the lower price.
The Walmart deal is not only open to those who are becoming a new AT&T subscriber, but also for those current AT&T account holders looking to upgrade their handset. While the orders taken by AT&T are now expected to ship on April 23rd, Walmart has yet to list a shipping date for its pre-orders. Samsung expects to ship nearly 10 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the second quarter and before the year is out, the device will surely smash all Samsung records.
Just holding the Samsung Galaxy S4 in your hands will make all of your friends instantly jealous. And when they hear how much you paid for the device, it will just make them all the more envious. By the way, for those who like to know how much they are saving, the discount from Walmart comes out to 16%.
